A brand new structure

16 Player Squad is Formed
Our head coaching team will review all of the Expressions of Interest and will select up to 16 players who we feel are ready to train in this competitive environment - 10 of those players will be offered tournament playing positions, while up to 6 players will be offered train-on positions with the squad.

10 Week Training Block
Our Academy Squad training blocks are scheduled on Tuesday (additional technical session) and Friday (compulsory squad session) evenings at Chatswood High School Synthetic. These blocks run for 10 weeks (in alignment with the school term) and will provide our squads enough time to build chemistry and prepare for upcoming tournaments.

10 Player Competition Squads
At the conclusion of the training term, the 10-player tournament squad will represent Vision at the tournaments we enter. The 10-player squad selections are made by our head coaching team, following thorough discussion with our squad coaches.

Opportunity to Compete
The 10-player squads will have the chance to compete at some of the most prestigious tournaments in Australia, such as the Sydney International Cup and the Diamond Cup. At the conclusion of the term, and post-tournament, our existing players will be re-offered spots within the program depending on their development, application to training and tournament performance. If there are spots available, new players who have expressed their interest and gone through our trial process will be introduced into the program.

Please note that from term 4 (2024) onwards, players will train in their 2025 age groups.
