FUTURE STARS

Sharing our love for the game, with the next generation.

LOVE FOR THE GAME

Fostering an unwavering love for the game in each player that manifests itself through long-term participation in the sport.

TECHNIQUE

Developing technical foundations that will allow the players to excel in their playing environments as they progress through the age groups.

PATHWAYS

Providing players with opportunities to play at competitive levels at the conclusion of their Future Stars journey through our IFA Academy Squads and partnerships with multiple JDL clubs in the Northern Suburbs.

While many coaches get caught up in the "start them young" mindset, running young children through complex drills in the hopes that they turn into Ronaldo or Messi by age 17, we view it differently.

Football is about enjoyment. It's about joy. About fun. A child that does not truly fall in love with the game will not play past the age of 12 or 13. And this must be avoided.

We want to create players that love the game, like us, because we know what a great impact this beautiful sport can have on a child's life. And so, if we can instil that same love in the young players we coach, then we have succeeded.

And this is exactly what the Future Stars Program is about.
